This course is suitable for anyone with a BA who is considering postgraduate study in Fine Art, Graphic Design or Interior Design at MA level. You may also be an international student about to start MA study in the UK, or artists or designers keen to develop theoretical knowledge that will inform their work.

 

The  week long course has been designed as an introduction to the basic components you'll need for MA study; your main focus on this course will examine either Fine Art, Graphic Design or Interior Design practice methodology. Through tutorials and group discussions, you'll look at how key concepts in art and contemporary art theory can be applied to your studio practice, and how the development of methodology and research can enable your own studio production .

You'll understand the relationship between contemporary art theory and your own studio practice and  you'll understand and be able to demonstrate the fundamental differences between BA and MA study requirements in Higher Education.
